The shield has multilayer with a thin metallic layer (1) and a phonic absorbing porous layer (2) having a high thermal resistance. The phonic absorbing porous layer is inserted between an engine (M) of a motor vehicle and the thin metallic layer. The metallic layer is drowned within the phonic absorbing porous layer, and formed by piling up of thin metal sheets such as aluminum sheets. The metallic layer has an external layer opposite to the engine.
