<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate material, which has favorable on-press developing properties, plate wearability, chemical resistance and thermal preserving stability. <P>SOLUTION: In the printing plate material having an on-press developable image forming layer on a hydrophilically-surfaced support, the image forming layer comprises (a) a water-soluble phosphate compound, (b) 50-90 mass% of thermoplastic resin particles having an average particle diameter of 10-600 nm, (c) 1-40 mass% of a water-soluble compound and (d) 1-20 mass% of a photothermally converting agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
