PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt drive system for controlling a speed of an auxiliary machine on an engine speed by a combination of the two-speed gear ratio and the output pulley or auxiliary machine pulley ratio. SOLUTION: This two-speed transmission 100 has a planetary gear train having an input pulley 10, a sun gear 18 and a ring gear 17 connected to an input carrier 20. The sun gear 18 is engaged with an electromagnetic brake member 190. The ring gear is engaged with an output pulley 30. A one-way clutch 22 is arranged between the input carrier and an output shaft 31. The brake member 190 is engaged when idling an engine, and is released at an engine speed of idling or more. The sun gear does not rotate when the brake member is engaged, and thereby, drives the ring gear and the output pulley at a faster seed than the input pulley. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
