PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine with a few indispensable requirements for the entire space for each element of the area of a thread route between a bobbin housing and a bearing plate. SOLUTION: In the lockstitch sewing machine, a second rotation preventing stopper 38 is fixed to a thread pull-out blade 29, a position fixing device 41 is installed, it fixes the thread pull-out blade 29 at an initial position (figure 2) when a shuttle 19 is rotated in an opposite direction at a fixing position (figure 6), and the cooperation of the second rotation preventing stopper 38 and a second bobbin housing counter stopper 40 is provided at the initial position.
