A car air conditioning system is provided to prevent overheating or overcooling of driver's and passenger's seat due to excessive air supply by selectively controlling the volume of discharged air, thereby creating comfortable indoor environment for the drivers and passengers. A car air conditioning system comprises an air conditioning case(10), an evaporator(20) and a heater(30) that are installed inside the air conditioning case, and a shower duct(50) mounted to the air conditioning case. The shower duct comprises an internal passage for delivering cold or hot air passing through the evaporator or heater to the direction of passenger's or driver's knees, and a discharge passage for discharging the delivered cold or hot air to the outside, wherein an air volume control unit is provided to control the volume of cold or hot air discharged via the discharge port.
