A method for coating a case for a cellular phone with pearlescent pigment is provided to apply easily the pearlescent pigment on the case without damaging the case and to change interference color into silver, gold, red, purple, blue, and green according to the viewing angle due to interference of the light. A method for coating a case(10) for a cellular phone with pearlescent pigment comprises the steps of: cleaning foreign materials of the case by a thinner and a surfactant and preheating the case at low temperature of 50~60°C for 10 minutes; forming a first color film by spraying the thinner on the preheated case; forming a second color film by drying the case at middle temperature of 70~90°C and applying the pigment, the thinner, a surface conditioner, and an antisettling agent on the upper surface of the case; drying the case at the middle temperature of 70~90°C, spraying a color base layer on the upside of the case, mixing the pearlescent pigment and acryl-melamine resin and toluene and ethyl acetate as a solvent, and coating the case with the mixture; and coating the case with clear paints.
