A lamp socket is provided to reduce time and manpower which are required for performing an assemblage work by connecting connection terminals of the socket with a ballast board within shorter time. A socket body supports a lamp. A plurality of connection terminals(16) connected to a ballast board(4) is formed in a terminal holder(2). A holder cover(3) is combined with the terminal holder(2) to fix the connection terminals(16) to maintain the connection terminals(16) formed in the terminal holder(2) in certain places, and is combined to the socket body. The respective connection terminals(16) are fixed to holes(19) formed in the ballast board(4) in a state when the terminal holder(2) and the holder cover(3) are assembled, and are soldered and connected to the ballast board(4) by dipping. After the terminal holder(2), the holder cover(3) and the ballast board(4) are assembled as one unit, the terminal holder(2), the holder cover(3) and the ballast board(4) are installed in the socket body.
