PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed-change controller for a twin clutch type automatic manual transmission capable of achieving traveling as intended by a driver, by preventing a meaningless change in a pre-shift direction and maximally using power source output characteristics. SOLUTION: In the speed-change controller for the twin clutch type automatic manual transmission, when carrying out a speed change, prior to the changing control of a first clutch CA and a second clutch CB, a next gear ratio is selected from a gear ratio group of a disengaged clutch, and pre-shift is carried out to hold shifting at the selected gear ratio. A downshift standby upper limit being a driving system rotational frequency value after a downshift is predicted by a present driving system rotational frequency and the deceleration of a vehicle. If an operation point of the vehicle crosses a downshift standby line on a map for pre-shift (step S3), and the predicted downshift standby upper limit is within an area providing require power source output characteristics (step S6), transition is carried out to the pre-shift of downshift standby (step S8).
