PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control device of an internal combustion engine capable of quickly stabilizing the change of combustion. SOLUTION: This combustion control device of an internal combustion engine comprises a means for detecting the cylinder pressure of each cylinder of the internal combustion engine, a means for detecting the crank angle of the internal combustion engine, a means for estimating the combustion state of the internal combustion engine according to the detected cylinder pressure, and a means for controlling the ignition timing of each cylinder of the internal combustion engine according to the estimated combustion state. When the combustion state is determined to be stable, the means for controlling the ignition timing so controls the ignition timing of each cylinder that the crank angle at which the cylinder pressure is maximum matches the target crank angle at which the output torque is maximum.
