PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for vibration proof having both of a low kinematic magnifying factor and a high hardness, and a rubber cushion for a car suspension member using it. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for vibration isolation contains a rubber material and fibrous filler. The contents of the fibrous filler are 15-50 pts.wt. for the contents of the rubber material of 100 pts.wt. The fibrous filler has a mean thickness of 2-100 nm and a mean aspect ratio of 20-1,000. The rubber cushion for the car suspension member comprises the fibrous filler contents of 15-50 pts.wt. for the rubber material of 100 pts.wt. and the fibrous filler with an average thickness of 2-100 nm and an average aspect ratio of 20-1,000.
