A processing machine has work-pieces (position 7) fixed on a chain transport device (position 6) by an excess-pressure (position 8) and transported through a processing device (position 11). Stators (5) are mounted under the chain (4) and generate a lengthwise moving magnetic field under the chain, and act upon the permanent magnets (1) mounted in the chain.
