A variable valve lift system is provided to determine whether the variable valve lift is normally operated, through the change of MAP(intake Manifold Absolute Pressure) value measured by a MAP sensor. A variable valve lift system includes two valve lift values obtained by changing the direction of oil supplied to a roller finger flower and controlling the height of a cam contacted to the roller finger flower. The variable valve lift system compares a MAP value of the variable valve lift that is measured by a roller MAP sensor with a MAP value of the variable valve lift that is input to an ECU and determines whether the variable valve lift is normally operated.
