<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which when a back light device is composed of a plurality of substrates, it is difficult to equally adjust the luminance or chromaticity of each substrate, and color is varied depending on the display area particularly in a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: In the back light device comprising a plurality of substrates each including a light emitting element, an optical sensor, and a memory means and a drive circuit for driving the light emitting element, the memory means of each substrate stores information corresponding to an output value of the optical sensor in a condition in which the light emitting element emits a light of a predetermined luminance or chromaticity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
