<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood capable of forming an air curtain for improving collecting performance. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to the range hood disposed at an upper part of a heating cooker. This range hood 1 has a suction opening 10 formed in opposition to the heating cooker for sucking the air, and discharge openings 14c, 14d extending in the circumferential direction around at least a part of the suction opening 10 for discharging the air to form the air curtain toward a heating cooker side. The exhaust openings 14c, 14d have variable width parts 28, 30 having variable width outlines where widths are changed in the circumferential direction. The variable width parts 28, 30 have at least two constant width areas 46 extending in the circumferential direction with a constant width, and a wide width area 48 disposed between the constant width areas 46 and having a width wider than that of the constant width areas 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
