<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a getting-up detecting apparatus of lower equipment cost, and also, is accurate. <P>SOLUTION: This getting-up detecting apparatus is equipped with an ultrasonic transmitter, an ultrasonic receiver, and a getting-up judging means. In this case, the ultrasonic transmitter is installed in a manner to transmit an ultrasonic wave in the lying direction of a subject from the head side of a bed. The ultrasonic receiver is installed on the head side of the bed so as to receive the reflected wave from the lying direction of the subject. The getting-up judging means judges whether the subject has gotten up or not from the reflected wave of the ultrasonic wave which has been received by the ultrasonic receiver. By the getting-up detecting apparatus, the movement of the head section of the subject is detected from the intensity and the direction of the reflected wave which has been received by the ultrasonic receiver, and the getting-up motion of the subject can be detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
