<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light quantity adjusting device capable of avoiding small diaphragm diffraction of an aperture diaphragm, and to provide an imaging apparatus with the light quantity adjusting device. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 1 having less image quality deterioration due to diffraction by small diaphragm of lenses and a phase difference is achieved by arranging face by face two gradation ND filters ND1 and ND2 continuously changing transmittance, being symmetrically inserted in and separated from an optical path LD, canceling characteristics of gradation ND in which density is non-uniform due to a location, achieving the light quantity adjusting device having a wide variable density range, being interlocked with the aperture diaphragm St, and making a program AE without being used in a state of being a cause of the image quality deterioration due to a condition of manufacture of the gradation ND filter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
