PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the capacity of a battery pack and facilitate operation of replacement of a battery by mounting two batteries of the form of a cartridge on the inside of a casing. SOLUTION: The battery pack comprises casings 2, 3 each having one opened side out of the four peripheral sides, a lid 5 opening and closing the opened side of the casing , and two or more batteries 6a, 6b attached to or detached from the casing. The casing is divided into two of a top cover 2 having the opened side and a rear cover 3 on which a substrate for controlling is mounted. The inside of the top cover is divided into two of upper and lower parts with a partition plate 8 to form battery housing parts 9a, 9b into which the batteries 6a, 6b of the forme of the cartridge can be housed.
