PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative material for flooring which is excellent in smoothness and resistance against dents. SOLUTION: A decorative layer is constituted by laminating a synthetic resin layer 7, a base sheet 5, a pattern layer 4, a transparent adhesive layer 3, a transparent resin layer 2 and a transparent surface protection layer 1 in order. The decorative material for the flooring is constituted by laminating the decorative layer on a woody base so that the synthetic resin layer is brought into contact with the woody base. (1) At least one kind, which is selected from the group consisting of the base sheet and the transparency resin layer, has an elastic modulas in tension of 1000 Mpa or less which is in comformity with JIS K6734.
