PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet device which does not spoil a high quality appearance due to exposure of a push button etc. of an operating section. SOLUTION: The faucet device is composed of: an operation display section 1 which is arranged in part of a surface thereof, and formed of a half mirror having semi-translucency; and a contact detecting means for detecting contact of the finger of the operator to the operation display section 1. Further the faucet device is composed of a light source 2 which illuminates inside of the operation display section 1 upon detection of contact of the finger by the contact detecting means, and makes a display 61 visible.
