PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily insert a key into a key hole even in a dark place where the key hole is hard to be observed and to easily found the key even if the key is lost in a dark place. SOLUTION: This key holder comprises a holder case 1 having a key end projecting mechanism Q by rotary sliding, vertical opening, and a straightforward sliding capable of moving the end of the key P from a storage position to a projecting position and having a neck strap S enabling the key holder to be carried while being suspended from the neck of a user and a light emitting device 3 detachably fitted to the holder case 1 so that it can emit light in the projecting direction when the end of the key P is projected from the holder case 1. The light emitting device 3 is formed of a light emitting diode unit unitized to an minimum area with reference to the V-size of a button battery.
