PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partial coating finishing method of an automobile body by which an edge line does not appear at a boundary between a coating finishing part and its periphery when an automobile damaged by an accident is repaired. SOLUTION: In a body 1 which is damaged and has become depressed, a depression is repaired as a predetermined preprocess, then a coating material of the same color as that of the body 1 is partially applied, is dried and then a coated part 2 is polished by a finishing agent 3 which is obtained by blending an abrasive 5 with a color coating agent 4 of the same color as that of the body 1. Further the finishing agent 3 is produced by blending the color coating agent 4 of the same color as that of the body 1 with a coarse mesh abrasive 5a and a fine mesh abrasive 5b.
