A system and a method for operating an online stock trading website, and a program recording medium thereof are provided to realize balance for stock trade and promote the stock trade through supply control by restricting a holding ratio of a predetermined stock item to a predetermined ratio. An information receiver(610) receives a stock buying request for the predetermined stock item from a customer terminal(110). An information checker(615) checks the number of corresponding stocks held by a customer by linking with a storage medium(630) storing customer information and stock holding information. An information processor(625) calculates the stock holding ratio of the stock item ordered from the customer by comparing the number of stocks held by the customer with the total number of stocks. If the stock holding ratio of the ordered stock item is over the predetermined rule, the information processor provides a stock buying disapproval message to the customer terminal. If the stock holding ratio is under the predetermined rule, the information processor processes the stock buying request received from the customer terminal. |
