A plasma display apparatus is provided to improve quality of low grayness images by implementing different types of a low grayness subfield and a scan pulse from each other. A plasma display apparatus includes a plasma display panel(100) and a driver(110). The plasma display panel includes scan and sustain electrodes, which are formed in parallel to each other. The driver supplies a scan pulse to the scan electrodes during an address period for an addressing, implements a low grayness subfield of another frame and a scan pulse having different types from each other in a low grayness subfield of a frame, and blocks to supply a sustain pulse to at least one the scan and sustain electrodes during a sustain period after the address period. |
