PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, an image forming method and a process cartridge which is excellent in fixing performance and can form high quality image over the long-term use by using toner which is excellent in low temperature fixing property and storage property and can reduce the generation of bad odor too.

SOLUTION: In the process cartridge in which contact-charging devices for subjecting surfaces of electrostatic latent image carriers to contact charging are arranged, toner of developer contains at least a binder resin and colorants and the binder resin contains a polyester resin made by polycondensating an alcohol component and a carboxylic acid component containing (meth)acrylic acid modified rosin.
