<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical repeater which is used for a PON optical transmission system and into which a management function of the repeater is easily introduced. <P>SOLUTION: The optical repeater is provided with optical signal processing sections 21, 22, 23 connected between a first optical transmission line 2 at a center side and a second optical transmission line 3 at a subscriber side in the optical transmission lines 2, 3 connected between at least a subscriber side optical line terminal 7-1 and a center side optical line terminal 1, an optical multiplexer/demultiplexer 20 connected to the first optical transmission line 2 or the second optical transmission line 3, a management optical line terminal 24 connected to the first optical transmission line 2 or the second optical transmission line 3 via the add-drop optical multiplexer 20; and a management function section 26 for transmitting/receiving a repeater supervisory signal to/from the management optical line terminal 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
