<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC power supply which suppresses the generated voltage ripple of roughly DC voltage and improves the power factor. <P>SOLUTION: The DC power supply A is composed of a plurality of reactors 2A-2C, a varying means, a smoothing diode 3, capacitors 4A and 4B for voltage doubling rectification, a smoothing capacitor 5, a DC voltage detector 6, a current detector 9, and a control operation part 11. The varying means includes a short circuit 10 and a switching circuit C. When the AC voltage supplied from an AC power supply 1 gets over the voltage of the capacitor 4A for voltage doubling rectification, the varying means switches on an IGBT10E, thereby increasing the quantity of the current flowing to the smoothing capacitor 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
