<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to reduce a cartridge replacement work frequency as a home printer usually incapable of housing a plurality of cartridges needs replacement of a cartridge according to a paper size. <P>SOLUTION: When image data which can be outputted by the same cartridge are rearranged and gathered based on information such as a paper size and a print type set to a print job, a frequency of cartridge replacement work carried out by the user can be reduced.
