<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image of extremely high quality having excellent fixing property, no change in the toner for long-term use, and free from abnormal images such as decrease in density and contamination on the base, by using a toner that has excellent low temperature fixing property, offset resistance, storage property and environmental stability and offset resistance and reduces generation of odor. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus is disclosed that comprises at least an electrostatic latent image carrier, a charging means, an exposing means, a developing means, a transferring means and a fixing means, wherein the toner contains at least a binder resin and a colorant, and the binder resin contains a polyester resin produced by condensation-polymerization of an alcohol component containing 2-6C divalent aliphatic alcohols by 70 mol% or more in a divalent alcohol component with a carboxylic acid component containing a maleic acid modified rosin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
