<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically obtain a document with highly visible layout. <P>SOLUTION: This document editing device is provided with a data set storage means for storing a plurality of data sets, wherein each data set includes a character string, the attributes of the character string and a font size corresponding to the attributes; a threshold storage means for storing a threshold showing the allowable range of the rate of the font size for at least two attributes of a plurality of attributes stored in the data set storage means; a rate calculating means for calculating the rate of the font size for at least two attributes of a plurality of attributes stored in the data set storage means; and a size changing means for, when the rate calculated by the rate calculating means exceeds the allowable range shown by the threshold stored in the threshold storage means, changing the font size corresponding to at least two attributes so that the rate of the font size can be set within the allowable range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
