PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking stove with a pan bottom thermosensitive sensor capable of reducing damage of a thermosensitive head and a bottom of a heated container, and generation of unpleasant noise by reducing the interference therewith in shaking a pan for cooking, while making an overheat preventing function effective. SOLUTION: A typical constitution of this cooking stove with the pan bottom thermosensitive sensor kept into contact with a bottom surface of the heated container placed on a trivet to detect its temperature, comprises the thermosensitive head which is vertically movable, a head energizing means for energizing the thermosensitive head upward, a lifting base supporting the thermosensitive head and the head energizing means, and vertically movable, and a base control means for setting down a position of the lifting base, and the base control means can set down the position of the lifting base during burning.
