PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity delivery device for an automatic vending machine, which uses an energizing means having not too much strong energizing force for returning a lower stopper to a protruding posture side, can rapidly stop the lower stopper in a protruding posture, and does not damage a solenoid. SOLUTION: A lower stopper 15 is separately arranged in a lower reception member 26 for receiving a commodity positioned in the lowest end, and a lower support member 24 which supports the lower reception member 26 in the protruding posture from downward. The lower reception member 26 and the lower support member 24 are locked to each other, with a clearance provided so that they can be opened or closed to a predetermined angle. When the lower stopper 15 rotates to a protruding posture side and a retracted posture side, the lower reception member 26 and the lower support member 24 are opened or closed to each other, in an openable or closable range so that the lower stopper 15 can be rapidly stopped in a regular protruding posture.
