PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knowledge information management device 10 capable of rapidly and accurately relating a plurality of pieces of knowledge information to each other. SOLUTION: The knowledge information management device 10 outputs each item of the plurality of pieces of knowledge information having the ID of each knowledge information registered in an existing knowledge storage section 100, the title of the knowledge information, at least one piece of information showing knowledge information of an upper-level hierarchy relevant to the knowledge information and information showing knowledge information of a lower-level hierarchy relevant to the knowledge information, and the synonym of the knowledge information, together with the predetermined weight information. The knowledge information management device 10 outputs the title of newly added new knowledge and the synonym of the new knowledge together with the predetermined weight information. Based on the output information, the management device calculates and displays the similarity to the new knowledge every piece of knowledge information registered in the existing knowledge storage section 100.
