PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophtographic photoreceptor which suppresses the occurrence of a defect, such as charge leakage while suppressing the occurrence of film peeling on an outer circumference of a cylindrical body. SOLUTION: The electrophtographic photoreceptor includes a cylindrical body 20 formed with chamfers 20b between the outer circumference 20a and end surfaces 20c, a photosensitive layer 21 formed on the outer circumference 20a of the cylindrical body 20. The photosensitive layer 21 covers the chamfers 20b. The chamfers 20b have a surface roughness larger than the outer circumference 20a.
