PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of reducing road noise without deteriorating tire performance such as riding comfort and rolling resistance. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire is formed by extending a carcass layer 3 between a right and a left bead parts and embedding a belt layer 6 in a tread part 1 on the peripheral side of the carcass layer 3. A piezoelectric film 12 is embedded in right and left buttress parts 10. A control circuit 14 for controlling distortion of the piezoelectric film 12 is arranged in the inner surface 13 of the tire.
