PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal capable of automatically changing setting such as an incoming call volume in response to the moving status of the owner of the portable terminal. SOLUTION: The portable terminal provided with a vibration detector has a vibration recorder for recording vibration detected in a vibration detector; a moving status determining section for determining the number of vibration within previous decided predetermined time on the basis of information recorded in the vibration recorder, and determining the moving status of the owner of the portable terminal by using the number of vibrations; and an incoming call volume setting section for executing one or more of setting as to whether an incoming call beeps or not, the setting of an incoming call volume, and the setting of a vibration function in response to the change in the moving status.
