<p>The invention relates to ammunition for missile and firearm. The inventive cavitating core comprises a front part conjugated with a secant fore surface along a cavitating edge, a central and rear part provided with a planing surface, wherein the maximum diameter of a circle describing the cross-section of the bore defines the gauge thereof. The contour line enveloping the cross-sections between the cavitating edge and the core gauge in the plane of the core axial section is limited by a dependence of D<SUB>x</SUB> =d X[I +(L<SUB>x</SUB> / d) X (2 Xsin f/p) <SUP>1/N</SUP>]<SUP>N</SUP>, wherein D<SUB>x</SUB> is the current diameter of the core enveloping contour line, mm; d is the diameter of the cavitating edge, mm; L<SUB>x</SUB> is a current distance between the cavitating edge and the core gauge, mm; f = 60°...270° is the angular opening of the tangents to the secant fore surface at the points of the junction thereof with the cavitating edge, which is measured on the side of the front part; N = (2p / f)<SUP>0,4</SUP>...(2p / f)<SUP>02</SUP> is the core volume factor, wherein the core gauge is equal to the current diameter D<SUB>x</SUB> of the enveloping line. Said invention makes it possible to increase the effective distance for destructing undersea targets when firing from air to water and/or during undersea firing using arbalets, harpoon guns, artillery, small and hunting and sporting weapons.</p> |
