A plasma display panel is provided to increase the transmissivity of the panel by forming an ITO transparent electrode of an optimized thickness in a recessed shape, thereby improving a color temperature of the panel. A front substrate(110) and a rear substrate(210) are placed opposite to each other. Discharge electrodes(120,130) are located on the front substrate, and are spaced apart from each other in parallel. The discharge electrodes include bus electrodes(122,132) extending on the front substrate, and transparent electrodes(121,131) of ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) electrically connected to the bus electrodes. The transparent electrode has thickness of 900 to 1300 Angstrom.
