<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the consumption of a battery in a communication terminal apparatus by suppressing the number of times of receiving cell broadcast messages. <P>SOLUTION: A comparison part 109 compares cell ID extracted at present by a cell ID extraction part 108 with cell ID stored last in a cell ID storage part 110. When a user moves, a cell to which a communication terminal apparatus 100 belongs is shifted and a compared result of the comparison part 109 is changed, a CB message extraction part 112 extracts a new cell broadcast (CB) message or the like through a CTCH reception control part 113 and a CTCH receiving part 111 and a display part 121 displays the extracted CB message through a memory 103 to notify a user of the new CB message. When the cell is not moved and the output of the comparison part 109 is not changed, the CTCH receiving part 111 does not perform reception until the lapse of prescribed time and the CB message acquired in the preceding time is displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
