<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens drive device which has secured sufficient phase margin while responding to a highly sensitive request. <P>SOLUTION: The objective lens drive device includes; a drive coil object with which drive coils 13a and 13b, and 14a and 14b are wound around a hollow structure and installed on a lens holder 4; a magnets 5 and 6 which face an effective area of the drive coil object and generate effective magnetic flux to this effective area; and facing yoke sections 22 and 23 (or 34a, 34b, 35a, 35b) which are arranged in the drive coil object and face the magnet. A notch 29 (or 36) is provided in the area where flux density of the facing yoke sections become low. While reducing the volume of the facing yoke section, effect of density fall of effective magnetic flux which acts on effective area of each drive coil object due to the volume reduction of the facing yoke section is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
