<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-ballasted fluorescent lamp having the approximately same external dimension as a general incandescent lamp, and a lighting fixture. <P>SOLUTION: The self-ballasted fluorescent lamp is provided with a fluorescent lamp 20 composed of a phosphor layer formed on an inner face of a light-emitting tube 21, a discharging medium sealed in the light-emitting tube 21 and an electrode means 24 provided with a space for forming a bent discharging passage in the light-emitting tube, and a globe 10 of which one end side of an open mouth part 11 has a narrowed diameter and the middle part is more swollen than the one end side, and the other end side has an approximately spherical shape and in which the fluorescent lamp 20 is housed, and a cover body 13 of which the external side has a mouth piece 30 and which is composed of a cylindrical body in which there is formed a connecting part 13a to be connected with the one end side of the globe 10 in the inner side and one part contacts with the globe 10 to connect the divided part 10a each other and at least a part of a lighing-up unit 40 supporting the fluorescent lamp 20 and lighting up the fluorescent lamp 20 is housed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
