<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a printed matter prepared by printing instruction from a mobile device from being left unattended. <P>SOLUTION: A printer MFP 102 detects distances between the printer 102 and a mobile telephone 100 at least first and second timings in a period when UWB radio communication is performed between the printer 102 and the mobile telephone 100. By comparing at least the two detected distances, a moving situation of the mobile telephone 100 to the printer 102 is judged, and according to the judgement result, one of a plurality of operation modes which the printer 102 performs is determined, and the determined aspect is executed by the printer 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
