PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the printing durability of a developing blade by making silicone rubber apt to slip by decreasing a coefficient of friction within a range of practical use without spoiling the flexibility of the silicone rubber, and thus reducing the abrasion wear of the rubber. SOLUTION: A blade member is made principally of silicone rubber, and a coating film for reducing a coefficient of friction is formed on a surface of the silicone rubber.
