PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system capable of performing slot diversity according to a reception state not only at a base station device but also at a mobile terminal. SOLUTION: The wireless communication system comprises mobile terminals 20a and 20b, and a base station device 10. A FER (Frame Error Rate) calculation processor at each mobile terminal 20a and 20b calculates an FER for a slot which communicates with the base station device 10. When the FER calculated by the FER calculation processor is worse than a predetermined threshold, a slot activate request processor at each mobile terminal 20a and 20b notifies an activation request for a second information channel to the base station device 10.
