PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the slider from ESD in the manufacturing and testing processes. SOLUTION: The head gimbal assembly comprises a slider, a suspension supporting the slider, and a flexible printed circuit provided on the suspension and including wiring to electrically connect to the slider, a conductive tab, and a test tab 240.
