PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably record data at high speed to an optical disk with a simple configuration even when a recording error occurs. SOLUTION: Recording error recurrence in the vicinity of error occurrence position where a possibility of error occurrence is high can be prevented by specifying a prescribed range following the address where the recording error occurred as a skip area when recording error occurs, and making data stored in a storage means recorded from recording restart address of the optical disk avoiding the skip area concerned, while eliminating data normally recorded to the optical disk from a storage means. Also time loss by resending the data is solved by excluding resending of data at restart of recording, and storage areas of host section required to store the data to resend can be reduced.
