PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for measuring the reproduction reliability of an optical disk more easily and reliably than in the conventional case. SOLUTION: Reproduction is repeated by laser beams of at least two types of reproduction power different in power level in an optical disk, and a graph is generated with the logarithm of the number of readout times on a Y-axis, and the inverse of reproduction power on an X-axis when characteristic values for the readout times in each reproduction power change to exhibit specific values, the reproduction durability of the optical disk is evaluated by using the inclination of the graph.
