PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestal for an advertising pillar capable of stably supporting the advertising pillar even when external force is exerted to the advertising pillar. SOLUTION: The pedestal 10 for the advertising pillar for supporting the lower part of the a cylindrical or columnar advertising pillar 1 is equipped with a tilt suppression structure 50 which has a curved surface 52 formed at the bottom of the pedestal and is so configured as to automatically reset the attitude of the advertising pillar from an inclined state to a perpendicular state by landing of the curved surface 52.
