PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve individual conveyance for conveying processed objects w (e.g. carrots) etc. one by one at fixed intervals with high probability, thus enabling appropriate sorting of the processed objects w etc. by a sorting device. SOLUTION: Ahead of the large numbers of processed objects w stored inside a storage box p1, stop members 5 for the processed objects w are arranged in parallel at fixed intervals in forward and backward direction on a support face 1a forming a forwardly upward inclined face and are continuously moved. The support face 1a is moved from the lower direction toward the upper direction while sending force for moving the processed objects w to either one of right or left sides on the support face 1a is applied to a certain range of the support face 1a. Excluding the certain range in the one side where the processed objects w are moved, the support face 1a further moving upwards is removed, so as to form a drop port 27 for dropping the processed objects w other than those moved to the one side. In the specific range h1 in the one side, certain length ranges of rear end parts of the moved processed objects w are pressed and held by the support face 1a and an elastic pressing means 28.
