PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pest insect-controller repeller for attracting and capturing the pest insect by using ultraviolet rays, capable of capturing the pest insect in good efficiency, and also usable as usual lighting equipment; and to provide an attaching structure thereof. SOLUTION: The pest insect-controller repeller 1 has a light-introducing body 2 and an ultraviolet light source 3 installed in one terminal of the light-introducing body 2 and used for attracting the pest insect 6. The light-introducing body 2 has a hollow interior having hole parts 20 having structures for introducing the light from the inner surface and radiating the light from the outer surface, and communicating the interior and the exterior of the light-introducing body 2. The pest insect 6 is attracted by lightening the ultraviolet light source 3, radiating the ultraviolet rays L2 from the light-introducing body 2, and efficiently captured by taking in the pest insect from the hole part 20 into the interior of the light-introducing body 2 by the structure. A visual light source 5 is installed in the other terminal of the light-introducing body 2 to enable the device 1 to be used as the usual lightening equipment. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
