A check valve has a closure element which delineates a first fluid space (2) opposite a second fluid space (3). The closure element is designed as a snap-action element (12) which, depending on a given first criterion switches from a first snap-action position/setting over to a second snap-action position, and depending on a given second criterion, switches over from this second snap-action position into the first snap-action position.
